For math we learned about fractions and subtracting them. My favorite activity is when we tested the light bulbs to see which of the objects could let electricity flow through. The work I'm most proud of this week is the one I just did. I'm looking forward to a good next week!

In math we've been learning how to add and subtract fractions using models. In reading, we have been trying to find the setting, problem, solution, characters, and main events. In writing, we think of something and we write the things it makes us feel and think. In social studies we've been studying the three branches and in science we've been learning different ways to create electricity.

I learned how to use the partial quotients method. I'm looking forward to learning the rectangle method. My favorite lesson this week was when I was doing the partial quotients method. I'm most proud of my work with partial quotients.

Guest Blogger of the Week: Daniel R.!

We learned in reading that we should always look for or find the main idea because that helps us understand what the book is telling us. The work I'm most proud of this week is science because I learned that if you rub something and put it on your shirt or wall or anything that you can find it sticks on it but one thing is that it only sticks if the positive charge is with the negative charge or else it will not work. What I'm looking forward to next week is hopefully great report cards!

This week we finished our paper roller coasters. They are really big now! I learned that drugs are bad and if a friend tells you to do it, then they are not really your friend! I was writing about Benjamin Franklin. I learned a lot about him and he was a good man!
